About Motherest
Motherest is a space to support women in nurturing themselves — whether they’re already mothers, on the path to becoming one, or simply seeking to care for their own wellbeing. It’s a place to reconnect with your body, your heart, and your sense of joy and purpose.
In creating Motherest, I wanted to offer a space where women can rest, reflect, and embrace their unique journeys — without pressure or overwhelm. Through the tools of somatic care, mindful rituals, and gentle support, I aim to help you slow down, reset, and cultivate the care our bodies and souls deserve.
Whether you’re seeking a quiet, personal retreat or connection with others, my offerings are designed to gently guide you back to yourself. It’s about small, intentional moments that help you feel grounded, supported, and renewed.
Motherest is my way of weaving together the lessons from my own lived experience and professional training to create something honest and meaningful. A place where you can feel held and encouraged to embrace rest, creativity, and deeper connection — both within and around you.

My Professional Background
Master of Education (EdM) Mental Health Counseling, Columbia University
Master of Arts (MA) Psychological Counseling, Columbia University
Advanced Certificate in Sexuality, Women, and Gender: Reproductive & Maternal Wellbeing, Columbia University
Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Journalism & Art, Northeastern University
200-hr Certified Yoga Teacher, Yoga Alliance
I hold a dual master’s degree in Psychological Counseling & Mental Health Counseling from Columbia University, with additional training in reproductive and maternal wellbeing through their Sexuality, Women & Gender program.
Before moving to Barcelona, I worked as a psychotherapist in New York, blending talk therapy and yoga into a gentle, body-based approach. Earlier, I studied Journalism and Art — a creative foundation that continues to shape how I guide others today.
My work now lives at the intersection of psychology, creativity, and care — offering space for women to reconnect with themselves through rest, expression, and embodied support.
Work with Me
If you’re ready to reconnect with your body, calm your mind, and restore your balance, I offer one-on-one sessions that can help you create a nurturing space for yourself. Let’s slow down together and listen to what your body needs.
DISCLAIMER
The services I offer are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or diagnosis. They are holistic in nature and designed to support your overall well-being through body-based (somatic) practices like yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness.
While I hold advanced training in mental health and psychology, I do not offer clinical psychotherapy. The use of the term “therapist/terapeuta” reflects a holistic, non-clinical approach focused on rest, embodiment, and nervous system care.
